STRENGTH HAS MANY FACES
KIJK! ONS celebrates the power of young people with disabilities and we share their personal stories through portraits and on stage. We share stories of their abilities and resilience in work, study, sports and hobbies.

WHAT IS KIJK! ONS?
Project KIJK! ONS challenges labels and stereotypes about disabilities. We do this through two main events:
-
An outdoor photo exhibition which tells personal stories about strength and resilience
-
Living library event where you can have an open conversation with young people with disabilities

"We don't need pity, but fair opportunities. And fair chances mean removing barriers, not lowering the standard."

A RED THREAD RUNS THROUGH OUR STORIES
In our exhibition, a common red thread runs through each portrait, sometimes clearly visible and sometimes more subtle.

It reminds us that even in our differences, we share the same need to be seen, valued and included. It also connects moments, people and dreams.
"Inclusion is not a nice gesture
but a way of living and working together."
